Last Friday, Eaglecrest Ski Area competed for the honor of the Guinness Book of Records World’s Largest Ski and Snowboard lesson, and Travel Juneau’s Visitor Services team was excited to be a part of the event. Visitor Services Manager Anna Edgerly-Moore and Coordinator Lindsey Thurman served as stewards and witnesses at the event to ensure that all contest rules and regulations were met.
While Eaglecrest did not beat the record, more than 60 people were introduced to skiing and snowboarding, and at a greatly discounted rate! Travel Juneau looks forward to seeing a new batch of snowsport enthusiasts headed back up the mountain soon!
Thanks to Eaglecrest for organizing and hosting a great winter event and asking Travel Juneau to participate!
