The World’s Largest Lesson will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6th. This lesson is an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records’ record for the largest simultaneous ski and snowboard lesson. Over 80 ski areas will participate around the globe.

Participants must be first time skiers or snowboarders and register at the Eaglecrest Ticket Window or by calling (907) 790-2000 x211 during normal operating hours. The cost of the lesson is $10 and includes equipment rental, lesson and a lift ticket. Staff encourages those who are not first time skiers or snowboarders, but want to participate, to try the other discipline for a day. Participants are also encouraged to arrive in advance, in order to pre-fit gear and answer any questions before the lesson.

The World’s Largest Lesson is associated with Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, a campaign to encourage newcomers of snowsports.
