The Bring It Home program is designed to reward and recognize local stakeholders who bring their professional and/or fraternal organization meetings “home” to Juneau. Local champions who bring new meetings to Juneau can win up to 25,000 Alaska Airlines Miles and their meetings may qualify for Centennial Hall facility rebates.

Winter meetings are a huge source of new revenues to Juneau’s economy and help smooth out the peaks and valleys of visitors in our highly seasonal destination. Between July 2014 and June 2015, JCVB brought in $3.65 MILLION in economic impact through meetings & conventions. Over 60% of that impact happened during off-peak months (October-April). That’s not just direct hotel and airfare spending: that’s business services provided to meetings (catering, printing, logistics), food service, arts & entertainment, and various other spending by business travelers in our local economy.

As state spending on professional travel decreases, bringing private business and fraternal meetings to Juneau will become more and more important to the vibrance and economic sustainability of our local economy. Come learn how JCVB can help you bring your meeting home to Juneau!
